What ages do you see?
We see everyone, from two months old to 102! Your entire family can receive comprehensive, personalized dental care from Dr. Sage.
What’s the best way to replace missing teeth?
Dr. Sage strongly recommends dental implants because of their numerous unique benefits – they help the jawbone stay healthy, they’re virtually seamless in look and feel and they can last for the rest of the patient’s life, to name a few. Whether you’ve lost a single natural tooth or an entire arch, implants can be used to recreate an attractive and functional smile. Additionally, Dr. Sage offers traditional dental bridges and dentures if implants aren’t quite the right fit for a patient’s personal situation. He will be happy to meet with you and discuss all of these options in plenty of detail so that you feel good about your eventual choice.
Can you help me improve the way my smile looks?
We definitely can. Our practice is home to several cosmetic services that are designed to boost your smile’s confident appearance, including porcelain veneers, Invisalign, teeth whitening, and more.
Is it true that dentists can treat sleep apnea?
Yes, if they have the right training! Dr. Sage offers oral appliance therapy for patients with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), which can work as a great alternative to the traditional CPAP machine. This custom-made device will gently reposition your jaw and/or tongue and help you breathe easy throughout the night.
I’m experiencing a lot of jaw pain. Can you help?
Chronic jaw pain is typically a sign of either bruxism (teeth grinding) or TMJ disorder. It’s always a good idea in this situation to schedule a consultation with Dr. Sage so that you can discuss your concerns with him in person and have him evaluate your condition. If he does discover troubling signs, a custom-made oral appliance or occlusal adjustment could restore your healthy, discomfort-free smile.
Going to the dentist makes me nervous. How can I calm down?
Dr. Sage is happy to offer nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) and oral conscious sedation for patients who struggle with dental-related anxiety. Both techniques will help you achieve a calmer, more relaxed state throughout your procedure.
