Your First Visit

In most cases, our team will want to schedule you for a 90 minute comprehensive evaluation as your very first appointment. Here is how this process will go:

  • You’ll be greeted by our office manager, Victoria when you arrive. You’ll bring in your completed paperwork unless previously emailed to info@sagefamilydentistry.com. Dr. Sage will take this information and review it himself.
  • You will meet with Dr. Sage in his personal office for around 10-20 minutes to discuss the answers on your forms. He will want to know everything he can about your dental and medical history, any risk involved in treatment, and what your personal expectations and goals are.
  • After this meeting is concluded, you’ll be introduced to our dental assistant, who will capture X-rays of your smile.
  • Dr. Sage will meet with you once more in the operatory so that he can review the radiographs and complete a comprehensive clinical examination. If your treatment needs are extensive or you have cosmetic goals that you’re interested in achieving, our team will want to schedule a follow-up appointment with you for a more in-depth consultation and treatment plan proposal.

Insurance Accepted

Sage Family Dentistry is an in-network provider for Delta Dental Premier. We will also file claims for virtually all major insurance plans, helping patients streamline the reimbursement process and receive the maximum amount available to them through their coverage. Our team members are very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of dental insurance, so don’t hesitate to let them know if you’re unsure about your specific plan and what you can expect.

Financing Available

Financing through the world-renowned Kois Center is an excellent option for patients who don’t currently have dental insurance and/or are interested in undergoing extensive treatment plans. These plans come in a variety of lengths, some of which don’t even have any interest attached to them.
