What is a night guard?

Nightguards are a protective solution for patients that subconsciously grind and clench their teeth while they sleep. These custom-made accessories work as a soft barrier between your teeth to prevent painful clenching and grinding overnight. When biting down, the night guard eases the tension between your jaw muscles and shields your teeth from enamel erosion. This review is long overdue. I've been coming to Sage Family Dentistry for over 5 years, ever since moving to Seattle. My kids also get their dental care here ever since they were born. Dr. Sage and all the other dentists, hygienists, and staff have all been great this entire time. I recently had a bad toothache on a Friday night, called in Saturday morning (when they're normally closed), and was in the office within 1.5 hours with Dr. Sage solving my issue - during a holiday weekend!
